RURAL HEALTH INNOVATION CHALLENGE

The Rural Health Innovation Challenge is a pitch competition designed to help rural hospitals, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), and other care providers find the best technology and tech-enabled services that can improve access, reduce cost, and transform outcomes for providers and patients.

11 finalists have been selected to present at the pitch competition to be held on November 4, 2026 at the GSA Annual Scientific Meeting in National Harbor, MD.

WHAT IS AT STAKE?

Presenting startups will have the opportunity to participate in a study or pilot awarded by one of the RHIC participating hospitals or other care providers. Our judges will award prizes in a “shark tank” style, and a live audience poll will determine the winner of the coveted Audience Choice Award.
